Weird question, right? But did you know, that many Melbourne wedding bands have multiple versions of themselves (under the same name) playing on the same night? So unfortunately, sometimes what you hire isn't what turns up on your big day.
With ALL STAR, you get the same band that has been serving up EPIC party vibes since 2012. The same singers, with only a couple of musician changes in those 13 years.
If for any reason one of us cannot attend the show (due to sickness, etc), we inform you ahead of time and get your approval for a substitute. If either Joe or Ashleigh can no longer attend, you have the right to cancel the booking with a full refund.
Yes! We're happy to learn specific songs for your wedding. If you have a particular bridal dance song in mind, let us know and if it's playable, we'll play it!
Yes! You can hire the duo or trio for your ceremony. You get a discounted rate if you also book us for your reception. Contact us to find out more.
Awesome live music by us!
For your reception, we play on average 2 to 2.5 hours worth of live playing time. At first, this can sound like a small amount considering you've booked your venue for 6+ hours. We have to work our sets in and around the formalities of your night (meals, speeches, etc). Rest assured, we play for as long as possible with appropriate band breaks.
Professional sound production and lighting equipment.
INCLUDING an experienced Sound Engineer who sets up, EQ's the performance space, sound checks and then monitors the band, adjusting settings throughout the night, to give you and your guests the best sound experience possible.
A killer Spotify playlist for in-between our sets.
Whether you want guests to keeping dancing during our breaks or laid back vibes while they grab a drink and have dessert, we've got you covered. You're also welcome to provide your own playlist.
MC'ing
For no extra charge, Joe provides MC'ing duties. For weddings, this includes welcoming the guests, special announcements, introduction of the bridal party, bouquet/garter formalities and introduction of speeches.
The Personalised Touch
Joe will work closely with you and the venue to make sure every detail is just right well in advance.
Varied depending on a number of factors e.g venue location, number of guests and number of musicians playing.
We can be anything from a Trio to a 7 piece band.
The minimum is $2500. Some events will be close to or at that price and others will be more.
For example: a 7 piece show in regional Victoria for 500 guests will cost more than a Trio wedding gig in South Yarra for 80 guests, as there are more players, extra distance to travel and more sound production equipment required for the former.
